INDEKS KUALITAS TANAH PADA SATUAN LAHAN YANG DITANAMI JAGUNG DI KENAGARIAN MUNGKA, KABUPATEN LIMA PULUH KOTA

Land continuously planted with corn will decrease land quality. Good quality is needed to support soil function as a growing medium and keep sustainable environment. This research was aimed identify the index at unit in Mungka, ,Lima Puluh Kota Regency. used an explorative descriptive method through survey analyses laboratory. The samples were taken based on purposive random sampling each under same slope (8%). There three units being sampled, those corn-corn, corn-eggplant, corn-cassava cropping pattern. Corn-corn ropping pattern had best (0.89), followed by (0.86), corn-eggplant (0.85) top 20 cm depth. On 20-40 depth, indices 0.82, 0.83, for pattern, respectively. of considered good either 0-20 or due addition organic matter from poultry manure regularly. Based this research, it recommended apply OM regularly index.
